![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Character Creation (1 sub-board)
This is where the Magic happens. Come inside to create your character using the application form provided. You will also find the CANON list in here, which is always worth a peek.
Once your application is complete, a member of staff will look over it a.s.a.p and either critique, accept or deny it. We try to be quick with this process and not keep people waiting too long.

San Francisco is a big place, to say the least, and it's crooked streets are overflowing with magnificent old houses and sparkling new apartment buildings. If you would like a home here, fill out a form inside and we'll create a board for you.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | P3
The nightclub owned by Piper Halliwell is still going strong, and still being managed by the Charmed One and her husband. Always packed to the limit, a lot of famous musicians have played here over the years and consider themselves lucky to land a spot on the small stage by the bar.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Golden Gate Bridge
Infamous. Magnificent. Larger than life. Yep. The one and only Golden Gate Bridge, used by many as a means of travel, and by some as a means of, errr... a good place to sit and think. Right up there on the top... Not advisable to the general, non-magical public, really.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Police Station
The San Francisco Police Station has been far too big a part of the Halliwell's life. A lot of strange cases go "unsolved" and it's suspected that quite a few people on the inside cover things up. The station itself is small, with a few private offices in the back and a line of small jail cells at the side of the building.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Downtown
Downtown San Francisco is as rough as it gets. Mostly home to a lot of warehouses and abandoned buildings, you wouldn't be wanting to spend a lot of time here after dark... or even at all, really...

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Golden Gate Park
Situated not very far from the, errr... Golden Gate Bridge, the park is vast and pretty empty, save a few trees and bushes and other nature-like bits and bobs. They sometimes hold little fayres and carnivals here for families to attend.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Fisherman's Wharf
Down on the seafront is Fisherman's Wharf, filled with seafood restaurants and tourist attractions. The Piers are beautiful and the docks filled with boats of all shapes and sizes something to behold. It's a beautiful place to go just for the view alone, and there are some lovely little shops selling all kinds of wonders, plus, street performers are a regular occurance here, and well worth a look.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Chinatown
Located high in the hills of the city, you know when you've hit Chinatown, as the buildings get a lot smaller and are decorated with a lot of chinese custom and writing. A lot of the residents here are descentends of immigrants from China and definitely succeed in keeping the culture alive.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Bay Mirror
The newspaper to be in or work for, the Bay Mirror has a lot of readers, and a famous advice column written for many years by the locally famous Phoebe Halliwell. The offices aren't really visited unless you work there, have an appointment, or know an employee or two. It's not like the small, bustling offices have room for friends and family to be stood around like nosy space-eaters.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Alcatraz
Just off of the coast of the Wharf is a tiny island, swallowed up by a cold-looking building. The only way to get to this island is by boat, and only the brave of heart would really want to. It is the home of the former prison, Alcatraz, where numerous criminals were sent as punishment, a lot of them dying there. The prison is no longer in use, but tours of the building have been available for many years. It is widely believed that Alcatraz is haunted by the ghosts of it's former prisoners.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Main Corridor
The main corridor in Magic School is quote as sight, as it appears to go on forever. Doors lining it's walls the whole way, no one really knows just how long it is, though you could quite literally walk for eternity trying to reach the other end.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Great Hall

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Classrooms
The classrooms in this building can be counted to the thousand, at least. Each one magically suited and decorated to accomodate which ever lesson is being taught that day, like the rest of the school, they can change at random, so you can always be prepared for a different scene behind each door when headed to lessons.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Nursery

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Dungeons and Lower Levels
Beneath the school is a myriad of earthen caves, home to nothing and no one. A lot of students head down here to find peace and solitude, a good place to practice magic without being interrupted. It's quite dirty and dark down here, and easy to get lost.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Grounds
At Magic School, having outdoor areas is... difficult. The magical protection barriers that keep the school safe struggle to extend to outer locations, so the gardens of the school are kept small. The main one is in the centre of the building, more like a gigantic courtyard, covered in grass, with trees and flowers scattered about, it has the appearance of a lush park.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Up There!
Never really given an official name by anyone, this is the place "up there" where the Elders dwell. Whitelighters operate from here and on rare occasions, mere mortals are given the lucky opportunity to peek inside. It's very heavenly and blindingly white as a rule.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Underworld
Vast and ever changing, the Underworld is a dark place, and demon central. Anyone choosing to fight on the side of evil can be found here in the labyrinth of barren caves that seem to never end and never cease to breathe Hell onto the world.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Demonic Wasteland
Once a Demon is vanquished, he or she is sent here, straight to the bowels of hell. Well, the wasteland is pretty much as close as you can get to it. Desert-like and unending, the harsh sands conceal a giant serpent-like creature that travels below the golden grains, eating the banished souls of demons big and small, leaving their powers lingering behind in the form of shiny blue orbs, which other Demons can collect if they're lucky enough to stay out of the serpents reach long enough. It is entirely possible, (you might want to know) upon gathering enough of these powers, to break free of the wasteland...
